Over the past few months there have been so many fabulous women in my life that have announced that they are bringing another life into the world. I will be welcoming a nephew in just a few weeks which I personally am so excited about! Another close friend welcoming a new life into the world at the end of this summer is my college roommate, sorority sister, and best friend Ashley. It is too bad that she lives in New York, but she is doing her best to keep me posted on her progress.
My cousin and his wife are also expecting a little boy this summer and I recently attended their shower. While one of my favorite things is getting gifts, I also love giving gifts to others. Not only giving gifts, but I LOVE wrapping gifts! The overall presentation of gifts is also important to me because I am someone who values first impressions. When I initially put the gift in the teal bag with the tissue paper, I knew that it wasn't enough. I decided to create a banner that said "congratulations" with some circle cut-outs, DIY thickers, glitter, and ric-rac ribbon. Of course I also made a card for the occasion using cute Doodlebug products (card base and stickers)!

I look forward to more upcoming showers and the actual births of the children in my life. I also am looking forward to starting a family with Dan soon...but not too soon! :)
