I am an avid card maker and while I have been spending some days at home I typically spend a lot of time in my craft room. Here are some things I have been working on thanks to
Split Coast Stampers and my own imagination:
| This was a card in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness...a cute little pink bunny! |
| This was a "clean and simple" card using stitching...I'm a HUGE fan of clean and simple cards. |
| These were a set of 3x3 mini cards I made for my friend, Ashley. I have fallen in love with quilling! |
| |
| I made some beautiful quilled hearts and some kissing ladybugs in honor of Valentine's Day! |
| These little guys were to celebrate the news of Ashley & Darryl's new addition in August! |
| This card was made for my fantastic mother for her birthday. I was able to use my new border punches from Dan! |
| Some of the contents of my Smash book...some of my "craft-spiration" |
| A "get well soon" card with beloved apples (because an apple a day...) |
I'm really impressed with the outcome of a lot of my projects and am interested to see comments and other craft ideas from others.
Crafting is a great way for me to spend my time, express myself, and show others how I care about them. Some people bake or cook for those they love, I craft! People who know me know that they can typically expect a handmade card at some point in the year...either for their birthday, an anniversary, or just a quick "hello". Everyone appreciates a little something now and then and the way that I like to show this is through handmade gifts. Whether it is a quick phone call, text message, card, e-mail...reconnecting with those you love is important to keep you and your heart happy!
